- VVernonVIPKansas City / Kansas •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. We were seated near the open fireplace on a very cold winter day. The seafood we enjoyed was among the best we have dined on in the KC area. The salad and side dishes were really tasty. Our waitress was knowledgeable and was very attentive. Overall this was a great experience!!!More infoBristol Seafood Grill – Leawood, KSPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Leawood•4.7
- DDonPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe ambience was amazing, it felt like New York or San Francisco! The service was excellent, all staff were very intuitive. We both had the filet which would have been wonderful if it had not had an overly salty au jus. We were there for restaurant week and the server advised us that the sauce was something the chef did especially for restaurant week and would not be on a normal steak order. Our meal would have been absolutely perfect if the chef had just not tried so hard! The filet could have stood on its own merits. It was cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts side dish is fantastic. This is a definite “special occasion” place, pricy but well worth it.More infoStock HillPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Plaza / Brookside•4.7
- SSarahKansas City / Kansas •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFantastic service - impeccable. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We could have done without any sides. We had mashed potatoes and creamed spinach for sides. I would pass on the spinach in the future. You don’t need sides anyway. It was a nice experience. We had a 2 yo in our party. They brought paper and markers and made it a nice experience for her as well.More infoThe Capital Grille - Kansas CityPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Plaza / Brookside•4.7

- LLindseyKansas City / Kansas •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoOverall, this was a great experience. A friend and I decided on this restaurant as part ok KCRW. We got there early so got a drink and appetizer at the bar. I got the crab cakes. Normally, I would rave about crab cakes, however these fell short. They didn't seem fresh, more like something made the day before and just reheated. My friend got the cauliflower app, which was very good. She also got a couple chocolate martini's also very good. We then got sat at our table. Got a couple more drinks. I got a Bellini martini, yum! She got the wedge salad and I got the crab bisque for the app. Both very good, I could eat the bisque every day! For our main, we both got the filet with mashed potato asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly med-rare for me and medium for her. The bread, so good, I had to get more. When it was time for dessert, we had to get it to go. The hostesses, bar tender and server were excellent. Very professional and attentive, but not overboard. This is not normally a place that I could afford an a regular occasion so I was glad to see this on KCRW lineup. Great experience, and would to visit again as a date night in the future 🙂More infoPierpont's at Union StationPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Crossroads / Freight District / Boulevard•4.7
