- JJohnVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEverything we had was outstanding. The new cabbage salad was unusual but refreshing. The pasta and risotto were better than I have had in great places in Italy. The server was knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly loved working there. And the desserts were delicious. Finally I will say they now make their own bread and it was excellent.More infoSpinassePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Capitol Hill / First Hill•4.7
- MMichelleSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is a one of a kind, Seattle experience, that should not be missed. But be warned, if you go once, you will want to go back, all the time, . . . As does all of Seattle. So it can be hard to get a reservation. Plan ahead. For this particular time, we made a reservation a week to a week and a half, and did not get the timeframe we wanted. But if we had got the timeframe we wanted, we would’ve had to wait over a month. Doesn’t matter, so worth it fantastic food, fantastic ambience, totally world class experience. So proud to have some thing like this, at this level of excellence, here in Seattle. I’m almost always order the afternoon tea / high tea experience. Yes you will be shocked at the price. But it is not the most expensive in town by a longshot, BUT it is the best! The owner of this place knows what they’re doing, it feels so very authentic. Service is so kind and friendly, you just don’t want the moment to end. But you will have to leave, and you can go to the store down the street to buy a Momento, . . . A very, very cool Momento, and reminder of the wonderful moment that you had there. My whole family can’t wait to go, and want to go there for every celebration, . . . And when I say, whole family, I mean me, (the wife), my husband (will not let us go without him), my teenager (who feels very grown-up), my grade schooler (This is his favorite birthday celebration place, and he asks for it every year.), and my mom, who introduced me to the place. You have not fully experienced the best ofSeattle if you have not been here.More infoQueen Mary Tea RoomPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Laurelhurst•4.8
- JJimNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a special place and special meal. My wife have been trying to dine here for over 25 years and we finally made it happen. We knew it was going to be a great night when we were seated at one of the widow seats. Didn't know that space had been added. We absolutely loved our waiter Patrick; we was spectacular in every way. Solid wine list at reasonable prices. Loved the Barbera d' Asti from northern Italy The local Washington oysters were a treat. Arancini (3) were hot and delish. Went for the classic Pink Door lasagna (I never order Lasagna in restaurants - Costco lasagna has ruined me forever on the dish!) However I loved this version - such subtle flavors. My wife had the pappardelle (she makes a number of great PD dishes) and she loved what she ordered. Ended the evening with the sticky toffee dessert which also was rich and memorable! It's clear the Pink Door know its lane and everything works. Every thing we ate was memorable and we can't wait to return and try what we didn't have a chance to enjoy. We flew up from Sacramento to see Beethoven's 7th at the Seattle Symphony. Thanks for your part in making our trip more than we ever could have hoped for.More infoThe Pink DoorPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Belltown / Pike Place Market•4.8

- CCaymanSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025Wonderful meal - we had Steak Tartare, Caesar Salad, Crushed Potatoes, and a 10 oz Ribeye. Everything was fantastically flavorful and plated beautifully. The service was excellent and the food arrived in an appropriate amount of time - which is to say quickly, but slowly enough to ensure you know everything is made fresh to order. Great experience!More infoThe ShamblesPrice: Expensive• American• Roosevelt•4.8
