Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Lawnside

Delicious food, great service and quiet ambiance for my sister’s birthday.

I enjoyed a wonderful birthday lunch at Cafe Aldo. We shared a Caesar salad(I would have liked them to split it in the kitchen). I had excellent Veal Saltimbocca and my friend had sweet potato gnocchis. I had indicated on the reservation that it was a birthday lunch and at the end of the meal two biscotti arrived with the best sparkler I’ve ever seen in a restaurant!

Quaint dining spot in the heart of Haddonfield. Amazing brunch menu. The house made sausage is the best I’ve had since my dad’s. It had lots of flavor and loved that it had spice, too. Will be back for dinner and save room to try the Canolli.

Celebrated Valentine’s Day with my partner. The food and cocktails were both amazing. We started with the poached pear and goat cheese appetizer, which was very good. Only complaint maybe just a little too much balsamic.  we both ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon both of us with steak butter. I added the lump crab to mine. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the lump crab was generous. For sides we got the lyonnaise potatoes and creamed spinach. Both were delicious and generous portions which were perfect for sharing between 2 people. For dessert, we split the chocolate layer cake, which was phenomenal. Debra was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I asked her to write a message on the plate and she did and it was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this restaurant and make sure to be seated in Debra‘s section. She was beyond friendly, very knowledgeable with the menu offered recommendations and chatted with us between courses. You will not be disappointed. Food was great - table was great - Service was terrible, server had no idea what he was doing and then he disappeared for the rest of our meal…but no one else came to take his place - Until the food runner - let people know ….it was very strange ….. the food was very good though….
