Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Amazing meal! Fabulous atmosphere and good service. The ham and cheese croquettes were the best I’ve ever had, and the tagliatelle with pork ragu was outstanding. Great vibes all around, highly recommend!

Maximo is one of only two restaurants I wanted to go back to on a return trip to Mexico City. The food is superb, drinks are fantastic and the service is excellent.

The highlight was the shrimp cocktail served in a bowl of Mexican style cocktail sauce with sliced avocado on top. Absolutely delicious. The fish tacos were good too. For dessert they show you all of them on a plate and they all looked great. I chose the fig tart and was very happy to try it. Definitely recommend Entremar.
