Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Neptune

We love Barrio, food, service & drinks are phenomenal. BUT they really need to get their payment terminals figured out. This is the second time we’ve dined and had issues. This time, the people sitting next to us check was added to our bill. Thankfully I noticed, but not something you should have to deal with when you’re spending $200+

Great service, innovative food and creative drinks. Went for a prix fixe valentine day dinner and look forward to going back and having full menu to choose from.

Fun beautiful restaurant in Asbury Park. My friend had the Caesar salad which looked very good. I didn’t have an appetizer but many good options to choose from I had the seafood fradiablo which was excellent and very flavorful. The zeppolies for dessert was the winner, fantastic. I would go back to Brando’s an enjoyable dining experience.

We so enjoyed our pre-Valentines dinner. It was happy hour at the bar when we arrived so we enjoyed a delicious dirty martini at a great price. My dinner appetizer was the pasta fagiol Soup that was very delicious with some added Parmesan cheese. My husband had the seafood appetizer which is always fantastic. It had an amazing variety of seafood in it. I had the raviolis which I always have to have when I’m at this restaurant. They remind me of my grandmother’s recipe. My husband enjoyed the veal franchise, the veal was very tender. To top off our celebration I had a strawberry chocolate martini. All I can say is Yum!

We visited Brandi’s on a cold and windy Wednesday evening. Our favorite server, Vincent and food runner, Arturo gave us a warm welcome as usual. For dinner we began with Fritto Misto, a mix of large shrimp, calamari and hot peppers in a crunchy, golden crust. It’s served with a sweet chili sauce which complements the dish perfectly. For entrees we enjoyed the Puttanesca with linguine, tomatoes, olives, capers and anchovies. The other pasta dish was Scamp Arrabiatta which consisted of shrimp, garlic, parsley, chili flakes over rigatoni. The pasta was cooked al dente and was scrumptious. We finished our meal with a coffee, cappuccino and shared a Molten Chocolate cake served with a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. The cake was warm, and not overly sweet.
