- NNancy BonelliPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThere were five of us we each chose to have an appetizer and a salad. Every single bite of everything we had was excellent there was one dessert shared chocolate cake that was unbelievably delicious. Our server Gavin told us they were homemade and indeed you knew they were . Topped offwith some decaf cappuccino. That was excellent. There wasn’t a single bad bite. The restaurant was quiet, but it was very rainy and cold at night. We had a beautiful table and we will be back.More infoTisha'sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Cape May•4.7
- EEdwardvipAtlantic City / South Jersey Shore •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOh, what were we thinking when we decided to wander around Cape May on a cold and rainy December day? Rain? It was raining hippopotami. So, we dashed our plans and smartly decided to indulge ourselves in a lunch befitting the weather. The Blue Pig Tavern was a perfect choice. My wife and I were seated in a cozy spot near the blazing fire. One look at the luncheon menu and we wanted to try it all, though ultimately decided on a crab cake sandwich for her and a chicken BLT on whole grain bread for me. Hers came with a salad. I had the fries. All of it was fresh and delicious. Afterward, we just had to stay for dessert — you know, the weather and all. She had what she described as the best carrot cake ever. And I could say as much for my apple pie. It comes ala mode, though I asked them to leave off the ice cream (a nod to all the other calories that decorate our holiday fare). Our waiter, Karlo, deserves special mention. He was welcoming, helpful and attentive. What more could you ask for? We wish there were more like him. Last thing: we came here because the place we had planned to visit was booked (midday on a rainy day in the off season? I guess). Next time, this will be our first choice!More infoThe Blue Pig TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Cape May•4.6

- GGeraldvipNew Jersey •136 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoService was impeccable. Disappointed that two items listed on menu not available, one of which we were not told until after placing order. Also out of fountain Pepsi. Rather odd. As for the food, all were pleased with cheesy bread as well as tuna appetizer. The chicken special was very good, but not served with any side (just French fries would have been nice). Chicken Santorini thoroughly enjoyed. Both Caesar salads and Greek salads were very nice. Worth a visit if in area.More infoGeorge's Place Wildwood CrestPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Cape May•4.7
