The staff was so on top of it, and the food came out so fast. It was our friend's birthday, and we were trying to surprise her. We had ordered a cake but needed to figure out a way to get it there without her noticing. When my other friend called the restaurant, they were able to hold the cake for us in the morning and then bring it to the table as a surprise. Rene was already informed by staff, so when we arrived, he was already in on the plan. At the end of dinner, the cake was brought out, and it was such a nice surprise. Both perfect in texture and flavor. I shared Prime Rib with Wife and Daughter got Spaghetti Bolognese .. The pasta was Al Dente and meat sauce rich and amazing. Prime Rib was disappointing.. They Split cut for wife and myself ..There was over 50% fat in cuts... was difficult to navigate with knife anywhere and slice Ribeye.. We might have had that area that the fat strap ran and not mad as it happens with Beef. The only other anomaly was The Italian greeter/ manager went around and checked on tables around us.. Never came by and acknowledged our table.. it was 5:30 and not super busy..Nor did server ask us after entrees served come Back... I miss those days when spending $300 plus for two adults and one child.. Would create a value for establishment... The ambiance was very chill and the music was not too loud. Our waitress was very nice and attentive with us. The food was fantastic it consisted of a 4 course meal. It began with a shot of tiger de leche (Peruvian cuisine). Then we had a choice of camarones ceviche which was super tasty and flavorful. After that, we had queso Birria tacos with the dip and that was also delicious. Next but not least, we had some nice and tender strip steak which was perfectly cooked and was easy to chew. Our night was capped off with some churro desert and a glass of champagne. It was a lovely experience and we are still talking about the food. Because I had to go back to work I didn't want super large portions so we opted for the pre-fix lunch menu for 42.95. We got the crab bisque, spinach stuffed mushrooms, steak bordelaise and the havana dream pie (an amazing tres leches version of cake and cream). We can't stop talking about the spinach stuffed mushrooms and the after taste of that and the crab bisque. It was so buttery and both were an awesome start to our lunch. The steak was cooked to perfection. Melted in your mouth and the perfect amount of seasoning. Just when we thought we were done, we forgot about dessert, the Havana pie (cake) was AMAZING, light and fluffy, creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. We left extremely satisfied. Our waiter had an amazing personality and so did the host who checked us in. Overall great experience.
