- SSophiaChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe came down for my daughter's first Walnut Room experience and it was nothing short of amazing. Our server Lex was so kind and attentive, he took his time to go over the menu and answer questions, and despite how busy it was he did not rush his time with us at all. I had the salmon which was so yummy, and my mom got the burger that came with the worlds best fries. My daughter had the mac and cheese which she talked about the whole way home bc it was 'the cheesiest' (step aside Kraft) it was such a great time and of course the winter fairies made it even more magical.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6
- SSteveNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoExcellent food with terrific, attentive staff. Place is beautiful and warm. Plates are small and meant for sharing. Some were quite expensive ($34 each for goat pork belly and basted bass) which were very small IMO for the price. Goat belly was very good, but would pass on the bass as we felt it was over spiced and couldn’t taste the fish. We also had the poke (24), oysters (18 for 2), beets (18), chickpea fritters (18) and a delicious, definite repeat in the toffee pumpkin spice cake (15). With tip and 3 drinks between us, came to $300 for 2 people. That said, this was our second visit and we will gladly be back again!!!More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8

I had the Dover Sole which was outstanding with the lemon butter sauce. The restaurant is great. The only criticism is that the prices are quite high.More infoRL RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.9

He was aware we were celebrating special birthdays.More infoGibsons ItaliaPrice: Expensive• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.8
