Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Auburndale

The place is beautiful, from the location to the decoration. You can feel comfortable, and it’s perfect if you want to enjoy a lovely, delicious, yet slightly casual dinner. The food was amazing..I ordered the chorizo pizza, and it was fantastic, from the presentation to the flavor. I also ordered the al pastor tacos and the short rib barbacoa fajitas, and both were delicious. I didn’t get the chance to check out the dessert menu, but since I was there to celebrate a special occasion, they gave us churros with ice cream, which was a lovely touch. I wasn’t a fan of the cocktail..they didn’t have much flavor and tasted watered down..but aside from that, everything was pretty good. NICE AND COZY WEDNESDAY DINNER NIGHT. Worth to try.

Loves: The ingredients and presentation feel intentional vs just doing something for an aesthetic on social media. Food Recommendation’s: Risotto - because when are you going to eat truffle anywhere else. Lobster pasta - because omg so delicious. Lamb chops- so tender and that herbaceous sauce was everything. Critiques: Sometimes the seating arrangements can be weird but the staff will gladly move you if they have an open table. They will package your leftovers but they forgot my sauce so maybe just make sure you tell them everything you want. The sound level can also make it a little hard to have an intimate conversation. Overall: The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are always fabulous! Make a reservation, even for weekday dinners.

We had a very nice time at the Citrus Room. The food and service were outstanding. The atmosphere was pleasant and the noise level was low allowing us older people to hold a conversation and actually hear what others were saying. Yes, it is a little pricey but if you are looking for an intimate location and the price is secondary you can't beat the Citrus Room. The only negative I have on this visit was as we were having dessert a young woman with 3 children came in. They must have had a reservation as they were seated immediately. We were a little surprised that the children were welcomed even though the hour was getting late. From the short time we were there after these people came in the children were pretty well behaved. We were just surprised that a restaurant of this quality would allow children at that hour. The young woman, however was a different story. When she came in she was on her cell phone. She was dressed very casual, even wearing a "Pink" T-shirt. She remained on the cell phone the rest of the time we were there. I really think the Citrus Room needs to update their dress requirements,

We have been to Fogo de Chao in various states in the USA, but we prefer Fogo de Chao Orlando the best. It is a top class restaurant with spectacular food and incredible service. Today we had top of the class service by all of the waiters, but Valentina really went out of her way to give us an out of this world dining experience. Thank you to all of the people who made our dinner unforgettable.
