The Grain House Restaurant is located on the picturesque 10-acre estate of the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Grain House structure was originally built as a barn in the 1760’s and was used to store grain for American Revolutionary soldiers. The barn was later moved to its current location and opened as a restaurant in the 1930’s. We joined the restaurant in a special tasting menu and it was very very good. The location and interior is impressive, eye pleasing and elaborate. It is definitely a great place for a date or business dinner. The menu is interesting and different. We recommend to take a look at the menu before going. The bar is large and welcoming for drinks. They have very nice cocktails as well.
