Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Chester

Beautiful establishment...very romantic setting for couples...soon to be a frequent stop!!!

Very creative chefs. Had a unique calamari starter with a light flour coating accompanied by an Asian vinegar sauce and a jalapeño aioli. So good! Also recommend their cream of crab soup with sherry — perfection. And a great wine list.

Waitress was just lovely and very pleasant and accommodating. Food was yummy. Maitre d was a bit standoff ish. I was standing there whilst he seated someone else…but never acknowledged me. That seemed somewhat rude. He could’ve said ….il be right back to assist you…. Nonetheless we’ve eaten here before and will be back.

Our dinner experience was outstanding. The pork chops and steak were perfect! Our waitress was very good, as were the entire staff. This is our 3rd visit to The General Store which has quickly become our favorite restaurant. 👍

Very grateful to the manager for our complimentary dessert tray for our engagement anniversary at that same location 16 years prior!!! Food was a bit 'off' and service was a little sluggish considering we were the only table seated at the time. We were early ish tho... ;)
