Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.

Pharm Table is our favorite place to dine when visiting San Antonio. It is rare to find a restaurant that cares so deeply about the sourcing of their food and drinks, and the presentation and taste of everything we’ve tried there has been outstanding. The service is fantastic as well. Finally, we appreciated meeting the owner who checked in with us several times to make sure all was well. Highly recommend!

First time at Peggy’s! Very delicious and well prepared food. Kaitlyn our server was awesome and even tolerated my “Dad Humor” well. Front desk ladies not that attentive. The Red Deer Chops were delicious and perfectly prepared. My wife had the Sweet Tea Brined Chicken Breast. She loved it although she expected it to be a boneless breast but it was not. She still enjoyed it. But those buscuits!!!! Simply AMAZING!! Desert offerings not optimal but what we had was very good (brownie and flourless chocolate cake). All in all the ambiance, service & food was what one would expect from a Bohannons inspired restaurant. Always excellent. The fact the owner/chef created Peggy’s to honor his mother added to the story. Will definitely be back.

I live in the Houston area but when I'm in San Antonio and want something other than Tex Mex, this is my go-to place! The biscuits are my favorite thing on the menu but everything I've had is super tasty! You'll love this place with it's homey feel and eclectic vibe.

We eat at J Prime often. almost always at a bar high top. We were joined by another couple in celebration of my birthday. We had a relaxing and wonderful dinner. Everything from the server to food quality to atmosphere was exceptional. The wives started with cocktails and loved the smokey old fashioned. They each had a slight variation on it, but that alone is a reason for those 2 to enjoy the dinner. Each of us enjoyed a salad (3 beet salads and 1 wedge salad). 3 of us had the kabob and the other had the wagyu steak burger. All of us could not be more pleased with the food. All of this was topped off with the highlight of the meal, a slice of celebration cake. Do not be dissuaded from getting the cake or think that it is something to eat by one. The four of us split the cake slice and didn't finish it. If you are just looking for a late night place for drinks and dessert, you couldn't find a better place to enjoy time in a great atmosphere. If you are looking for the full dinner, the dining room will not disappoint.
