Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Farmingville

Everything was great!! From the food to the service and everything in between, this place is a hidden gem!

We all had the Halibut with celery root puree & haricot vert. It was absolutely delicious. Dinnertime (on a Monday) was much quieter than lunchtime so it was nice that it wasn't too loud. Also they didn't rush us out. We lingered & chatted even after we paid the bill. Much enjoyed.

I love dining at Chachama! It’s one of my favorite places to eat; however, the cologne that some of the servers wear affects my experience. Not only am I sensitive to smell, but I also have fragrance allergies. As a result, my eyes itch, and my chest tightens affecting my ability to breathe normally, just to name a few symptoms. Because of my sensitivity, I’ve always felt that there should be a universal rule for people in service to not wear fragrance or strong scents. Chachama is not a large restaurant, so multiple people wearing strong fragrances is sensory overload, and it negatively affects my experience.

Lake House has been a stand out restaurant in Bay Shore for years. After they moved closer to the Fire Island Ferry dock and built their new location I was afraid that size might negatively impact the overall fantastic experience that has always been Lake House's standard. No chance! It's still one of the top restaurants on Long Island and the service, food and ambiance remains excellent. Consistency in the restaurant business is always the most difficult achievement and Lake House meets that bar with flying colors. Thanks to them for a terrific meal on Saturday night!

Great service and the food was excellent. Sitting in the bar area definitely has a cozy, sexy winter vibe. A definite hit!
