This was the highlight of my Christmas season.More infoClockwork Rose Tea EmporiumPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Beaverton•4.9
- LLaurenPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024This cozy little teahouse is, for me, exactly how a teahouse should feel. Small, warm, and filled with atmosphere and the smell of freshly brewed tea. We made reservations ahead of time, and I'm glad we did. It got busy quickly. We were served tea fairly quickly, and the tea was of good quality. Fairly full leaves, good color of the brew, and strong aroma. We paired our various selections of black and oolong tea with the salmon tower and the garlic noodles, both of which had good flavor. We stayed for a while, had a second brewing of our leaves, and chatted in the small space until we were contented. I will be back!More infoOld Asia Teahouse & RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Pan-Asian• Beaverton•4.7
- DDyannePortland / Oregon •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 5, 2024My husband loves Afternoon tea so we celebrated his 55th birthday at Sweet Peas this past week. We had a wonderful time and the tea and room was a celebration of the holiday season. The lovely ladies who run this tea room do such a great job. The sandwiches were full of flavor, the sweets were delicious and the scones nice and crumbly (as they should be) I would say my only disappointment would be that the cream for the scones is just whipped cream and not clotted cream as is tradition. But I know that it’s hard to make traditional clotted cream with our rules against unpasteurized dairy. They serve one type of tea as per the season, and at first I was disappointed as we like to choose our own separate teas. But the seasonal tea (Clementine Clove) was delicious. When we were asking about 2 of the for purchase teas on display, they asked if we would like sample a small pot of them. This was excellent service as we didn’t like them at all. But we really enjoyed the Clove tea and ended up purchasing a bag of it. We will definitely come back again in summer to experience their summer menus. Also, as far as Afternoon tea, the cost per person is VERY reasonable.More infoSweet Peas Tea RoomPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Battle Ground•4.9
