- KKathrynNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI celebrated my friend's birthday at MarieBelle Cacao Bar. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy. Holidays lights and the chandelier add a simple elegance to the decor. The tea sandwiches were delicious. The hot cocoa was delicious and the service was superb! Kudos to the staff for always making sure our water glasses were filled and for the shots of hot cocoa for us to try. My friend's birthday was made special,by a thoughtful presentation, of a cake with candle! And the birthday song! It was much appreciated! We also couldn't resist the shop in the front and purchased the gorgeous chocolates for gifts.More infoCacao Bar & Tea Salon by MariebellePrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• SoHo•4.8
- AAvaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review4.0Dined 6 days agoOur time at BK High Low today was lovely! It was the perfect way to spend a birthday with good friends. We sat in the garden on the coldest day of the year but mostly were cozy beside our frozen toes, which is just the nature of being anywhere in the cold. The tea was delicious and they had such a diverse selection. The scones were fluffy and beautifully textured but we were not impressed with the sandwiches. The desserts were good but we agreed the tea and scones are the best part. I will say that we were a party of 7 outside so we were harder to reach but the service was not outstanding. All in all, I would surely recommend the Grand Vanderbilt at least once for the special experience that full afternoon tea is. It doesn't hurt that the HIgh Low's parlor spaces are so delightful! I will return again for cream tea without the extra food but I am so glad I chose BHL for our get-together:)More infoBrooklyn High LowPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Prospect Heights•4.5
- BBethVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe restaurant was wonderful. It was a little odd that our waiters switched shifts in the middle of our tea service, but it was okay. They were not overly attentive. The food was great; the ambience was great. The Crosby Bar needs easier access to the bathroom though. Tough navigating down stairs and hallways with an injured foot! We want to come back next year.More infoThe Crosby BarPrice: Expensive• American• SoHo•4.5
