- MMichaelVIPCincinnati / Dayton •111 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis outside the box steakhouse is daring and adventurous in everything from how it is designed to the food it serves. We have not tasted better crab cakes anywhere, nor have we found a filet mignon this good in a long while. They serve the best cuts with mastery. Their mixed drinks were superb, and their unique dessert menu blew us away. Best money we have spent at a restaurant outside NYC.More infoSOB SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Liberty Township•4.8
- RRonCincinnati / Dayton •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had reservations for 2 at 5:30 on Christmas Eve (which we booked in October). We arrived around 5:20 and were called to the front for seating at 5:31. Our server was outstanding. Food was very good and earned a 4, but could have been a 5 based on past experience but some things were off target just a bit, probably due to the huge Christmas Eve crowd and load on the kitchen. (We’ve been here several time before, so we know that FB is almost always 5-stars across the board.) The biggest downside is the noise level in the restaurant which makes conversations difficult.More infoFirebirds Wood Fired Grill - MasonPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Mason•4.7

- BBetsyCincinnati / Dayton •43 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoFood is excellent, Eclectic menu and lots of great vegetarian options too. Coffee selections are great although Cappuccinos were not very hot. I think they need help with their host/seating/reservations management. Always make a reservation. It's small and fills up quickly. Two tables which would accommodate our party size were open, one was a high top and one a low top. My husband in particular does not do well with high top tables. We had a reservation, but were told the low top was reserved. High top our only choice. During our entire visit they never filled that low top table and several others came open also. So even though the reservations were full, during our visit many tables became open including the requested low table. There does not seem to be management on duty, during day. Servers covered host stand, rather awkwardly and not satisfactorily. Our server was the person who told us we couldn't have the low top table and never commented on it again during meal although I think it was clear that the high top caused some difficulties for us. We would have been pleased to move once they figured out they did in fact have multiple low tables open. Besides the rather lack of concern or personal touch, we had a great meal. Our server was friendly and did seem a bit overwhelmed. Possibly they were understaffed for the day. Food is worth the small hassles and we will definitely come back. Try the Beet and Burrata Salad and the French Onion Soup. Also the Deviled Eggs (!) Spectacular.More infoThe Park PourPrice: Moderate• Café• Blue Ash•4.8
