- VValerieSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a wonderful dinner here and can’t wait to go back. The restaurant was busy on a Monday night - a good sign! Everything was delicious - kale chaat, spicy tangy ribs, pork momo, rice, garlic naan, cashew curry and goat curry. Marvelous flavors! The wine list was unusual and obviously tailored to pair well with the good. The sparking Pinot Grigio was perfect. Ambiance warm and service attentive. The prices were also reasonable for such well made food. We will be back!More infoBase CampPrice: Moderate• Asian• Mission District•4.9

We had Watermelon salad, Mango Lhassi, Matar Paneer, Zatar Naan, Matar Paneer (vegetarian), Butter Chicken and the Flan for dessert, all wonderful. Their cocktails are also excellent.More infoDancing YakPrice: Moderate• Southeast Asian• Mission District•4.8

- JJasonSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoCame here on a Friday after work. The parking lot was packed. A few things to note the Happy hour is only in the Cantina and cannot be applied to your order in the restaurant. I ate on the restaurant side and had the chicken flautas, the steak & shrimp fajitas, and the surf and turf plate. The flautas were nice, crispy and packed with flavor. For the entrees the protein portions were on the lighter side and the steak was dry. However, the shrimp was quite tasty in both dishes. Our server Miguel was awesome! He was very attentive and anticipated our request. He brought out salsa before we went dry and refilled my drink before I was done. I will likely come back and as they have many deals like taco Tuesday and happy hour til 9pm.More infoChevys Fresh Mex - South San FranciscoPrice: Moderate• Mexican• South San Francisco•4.2
- GGregoryVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •33 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 9, 2025Finally a top notch experience. I’ve been there many times before with tourists and others but this was a date, a real date. The Mai Tais were delicious as was the poke appetizer. Both the basil chicken and salmon were very good, the portion size generous. The entertainment was old time tiki bar. The service was efficient, professional and friendly. The setting? There’s only one Tonga Room, the one that we old time San Franciscans can appreciate.More infoTonga Room & Hurricane Bar - Fairmont San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Asian• Nob Hill•4
