Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Dunning

This place is fantastic! Don’t let the unassuming old school diner look fool you - food and service here were top notch. Took my bestie here for her first night out since having a baby and although we may not have, this place kept it classy! Our group of 4 arrived, having already imbibed, quite rambunctious and ready to take it further. The server handled us and the situation with grace. Yasmin was kind and patient as she took our order and played it cool when the topic of drinks came up. Without drawing attention, they kept the waters flowing and the fried appetizers coming. The food was a surprise and delight as each dish ordered arrived looking different than any of us had imagined. Potted carrots, frito misto, and the grapes in the ravioli were just a few of the delights. Was it the pre-game, or is this a fun menu? We may never know. That said, they didn’t make a scene when my friend lost her napkin 6x or had red lipstick on her face and hands, or when the new mom pulled the pumps off at the table. If you saw us, no you didn’t. While we eventually redeemed ourselves enough to be allowed 1 round of drinks with our pasta dishes, we left quietly and on our own accord, ensuring Yasmin was given an additional tip on top of the included 25% gratuity. Man, if we had this spot in the Detroit, MI area...Fresh and unique recipes, with a farm-to-table twist. The restaurant format is warm and earthy. It is definitely a treat and a neighborhood gem. My wife and I enjoyed the Avocado Toast, Chicken Pot Pie and Tomato Soup. This was an easy 5-Star spot (probably my first). Enjoy.

This was our first visit to Guinness and it won't be our last! We really enjoyed the food, beverages, service and vibe. Parking was rough, but fortunately we got the valet. In the future we'll most likely train in from the burbs. I was afraid it would be too loud to hear each other in our party of 6, but even though it was on the louder side, we were able to talk without yelling. Four of us have been to Ireland recently and though the beer wasn't totally that Ireland taste, we all really enjoyed it. Most of us had the beef stew as recommended by our server and it was delicious! The curds and wings for starters were also tasty. The Guinness sauce on the wings was delicious on its own! Then for dessert we had the creme brulee and the churros with ice cream - again recommended by our server. Don't usually love churros, but this was a great combo with the ice cream. Overall super fun night for a little family reunion!

We have been twice this year ( live out of state and were visiting our son for college parents weekend.) very welcoming staff. Dining room was full up quickly. We had Polish draft beer. Enjoyed the family meal which is a shared feast of soup, potato pancakes, sausage, sauerkraut, cucumber salad, chicken, beef stew and sweet crepes! Delish! Hearty ! Filling! Great service. Most highly recommend.
