Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Victoria

We had an amazing dinner and dessert. The chef makes everything in house including the desserts! We were lucky to enjoy a jazz band that made threats enbiance amazing. It's a must do anytime of the year, you will love it.

Overall, the food was great. One of the guests had to send her steak back twice and still was undercooked. The staff was amazingly attentive, extremely apologetic about the steak and did not charge us for it. They also give us all a complimentary dessert as an apology for the steak. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and caring. They even had a bouquet of flowers and a card for me to acknowledge our evening was a special celebration. The only negative was the noise level made it impossible to converse with the whole table of seven. Once the table of ladies behind us left, it was more tolerable but, I have always found Earls acoustics amplify voices to the extreme.

Hard to communicate when you don’t post a phone number.. we wanted to change or reso time and submitted an email prior to reservation, but no response .

The staff was exceptional and very attentive to our group. The food was great, everything was good. They make their own hamburger which is not common and gives the burgers added flavour. I am not sure $30 Burger is value but its was enjoyable and I would go again!

We attended Sawmill Creek's "Breakfast With Santa" brunch on Sat. 14 Dec 2024, in Colwood BC. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were surprised that there were no more people at the restaurant for the event. Our meal was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Wait staff were friendly and our conversation with them elevated our dining experience - even the manager/owner stopped by for a quick chat and we shared some holiday greetings. A definite "must do" event, if you are in the Victoria BC/Colwood BC area for the holidays.
