In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water. Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate requests for seating preferences and/or outside dining, but they cannot be guaranteed based on limited outdoor seating.     Food, ambience, and service were top notch. Pricing, in my opinion, was pretty high. Portion sizes were great and food was amazing. Restaurant is trying to be an upscale Italian restaurant you would find in the city, but more expensive. Lacks the prestige and aura necessary for the prices used. The ambience was good, but did not reach top level pricing as demanded. Would rather spend the same amount of money at an established fine dining experience. Don’t regret eating here - just wish price was more appropriate.

    What an elegant restaurant in decor! The staff is warm and friendly! Starting with our hostess and our server, Chris! Chris makes us feel so welcomed and remembered us from our last time in August! He truly cares that we have what we need and we’re completely satisfied! The food was perfectly delicious! Will be back in late Spring when we visit Cape May again!

    I have been to the Avalon Gold Club numerous times for lunch. I enjoyed each visit. Today I was there for the Thanksgiving buffet. There were many food choices to pick from. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Even though alot of people were seated the place was remarkably quiet - so you got to enjoy your meal and conversation with people at your table. I am returning twice in December - once for my birthday and the other Christmas Eve day and I look forward to each visit.
