Best Live Music Restaurants in Desert Hot Springs

A new find for me in Palm Springs despite the fact I’ve been visiting the town for more than 30 years. And what a pleasant surprise. Slightly off the beaten track and chocker with locals, Spencer’s is a rare find. Professional, friendly, laid back, this is a place for grown ups and their pets (but not their kids). Didn’t spot one mobile phone out as guests seem to enjoy laughing and talking to checking their insta accts. Fantastic food and service. Really can’t find a negative.

First of all, every time I make a special request for a certain area in the restaurant, they ALWAYS accommodate it, and the hosts and hostesses are always so welcoming, like they're genuinely glad we got there. Nicole, our waitress was so efficient, never intrusive, and spot on with timing and recommendations; just the BEST! We were there on Thanksgiving which, in many restaurants is a bad idea, but the turkey dinner, and all of the other food and the cocktails were just amazing. Tropicale is one of my absolute favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. They NEVER disappoint.

We had an excellent Thanksgiving dinner, Nov 28, 2024. Food, service, ambience, wine was excellent. We ate at many Michelin Stars restaurants. Eight4Nine deserve a Michelin Star. Outstanding experience. Restaurant very popular. Thank you for a very memorable dinner.

In town for the Thanksgiving holiday and wanted to stop by to try this place and it did not disappoint! Service was excellent all around. Do yourself a big favor and make sure to order the cheddar biscuits—best biscuit I’ve ever had and apparently they sell out daily. We also enjoyed the toasted nuts, marinated olives and the short rib tortellini. We liked this place so much that we’re planning to come back again before heading home to try some of the other things on the menu that sounded so good (and you better believe we’re gonna get those biscuits again!!).
