- AAmarisDenver / Colorado •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI had a wonderful experience at Ellyngton’s. I made a reservation for 12 to catch up with my cousin over brunch, and everything went smoothly. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, especially our server, Dowa (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name), who made us feel very welcomed. The ambiance was relaxing with elegance. With the soothing sounds of jazz playing in the background. It was the perfect setting for a leisurely brunch. After such a pleasant visit, I’m excited to return and see how Ellyngton’s dinner service compares.More infoEllyngton'sPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown / LoDo•3.8

The menu seemed a bit underwhelming to me at first with relatively few choices that I thought I would like, but everything I tasted was fantastic, so I got some culinary and gustatory education.More infoRiver and Woods RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Comfort Food• Boulder•4.6

- PCPaulCVIPDenver / Colorado •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024High Tea in the Atrium was the best. Great atmosphere and Christmas decor, wonderful piano music and even better strolling carolers followed by the jazz combo playing Christmas tunes. Price was high but the experience could not be duplicated. That said, I miss the smartly uniformed doormen and found it took quite a while to get a drink and we were seated at least 30 minutes late. Also, the newly renovated Ellington's is disappointing with such poor acoustics and "all white" decor. Sorry to say that the hotel as a whole is no longer the best in Denver.More infoThe Grand Atrium at the Brown PalacePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown / LoDo•4.4
