- SShamaSeattle / Eastern Washington •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe antipasti was average. Olives were indifferent and eggplant had very little flavour. Pasta was very tasty - butter and truffle, why not. The flourless cake was mediocre to poor. But here's what stood out: the service. Natalie was excellent. It didn't feel like dining in an American restaurant; nobody pestered us for ordering the next course. It wasn't indifference - she kept a close eye on our needs. The gin fizz was well made and wine (recommendations) were spot on.More infoOsteria La SpigaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Capitol Hill / First Hill•4.5
- JJimNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat a special place and special meal. My wife have been trying to dine here for over 25 years and we finally made it happen. We knew it was going to be a great night when we were seated at one of the widow seats. Didn't know that space had been added. We absolutely loved our waiter Patrick; we was spectacular in every way. Solid wine list at reasonable prices. Loved the Barbera d' Asti from northern Italy The local Washington oysters were a treat. Arancini (3) were hot and delish. Went for the classic Pink Door lasagna (I never order Lasagna in restaurants - Costco lasagna has ruined me forever on the dish!) However I loved this version - such subtle flavors. My wife had the pappardelle (she makes a number of great PD dishes) and she loved what she ordered. Ended the evening with the sticky toffee dessert which also was rich and memorable! It's clear the Pink Door know its lane and everything works. Every thing we ate was memorable and we can't wait to return and try what we didn't have a chance to enjoy. We flew up from Sacramento to see Beethoven's 7th at the Seattle Symphony. Thanks for your part in making our trip more than we ever could have hoped for.More infoThe Pink DoorPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Belltown / Pike Place Market•4.8

- SStevePortland / Oregon •9 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025It has been awhile since we dined at Daniel's and the food did not seem to be as outstanding as before. But it was excellent, just not in the outstanding category I recalled. Of course, more pricey.More infoDaniel's Broiler - Downtown SeattlePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.3
