Best Live Music Restaurants in St. John

Really, really good food. Service was great.

Food is really great, vibes are really great also. Staff was kind enough to let us sit outside even though we had reserved for inside. Here’s what we got: Ceviche: 8/10 - not for me, biscuits good Lobster Dumplings: 10/10 must get Penne: kinda plain but pretty good 8/10 Thai soup: really good. Very rich and hearty. Lobster and shrimp is amazing. 9/10 Swordfish: 10/10 add some salt lol Overall pretty good, maybe once in a while thing. Sides are top tier too

My family of 5 absolutely loved our experience at The Refinery. We arrived at 8:30 on Christmas night and the staff was clearly working really hard to accommodate a very busy evening - but all the while they were friendly and kind trying to make room to seat us. While they were out of empanadas by the time we ordered, it did not matter as we were totally delighted by the inventive combinations of flavors in all of the appetizers we shared ( we devoured 2 sticky and delicious popcorn chicken, a crab and corn fritters and a couple of salads) and then the special lobster and Trinidad Doubles entrees wowed us again - unexpected flavors so different from home (NYC) but absolutely delicious! This was our best meal yet on St John and our favorite service as well - they almost felt like family by the time we left. Loved and highly recommend!

We had a large party. The table was all ready with no wait. The staff was great, attentive but not overbearing. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Great spot. We come back again.

Having stayed at their sister property in Martha's Vineyard a few months earlier we had to come over for a meal while celebrating a return anniversary in St. Thomas. Everyone, from the ferry crew to the resort staff could not have been friendly and, more so, fully efficient and competent. Saturday nights the resort's upscale restaurant is closed and instead there is a much more casual offering. It is, however, no less terrific I'm certain and for our evening, just perfect. The evening was a very special one thanks to the associates and team members, chef especially.
