- GGeorgeGreater Boston •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoI unfortunately think this place suffered from being overhyped. The ambience and service were fantastic. However the food did not blow us away. While there were some highlights including the raw bay scallops, the hash brown, and the “Caesar like salad”, most was forgettable. For the price tag and portion sizes, we left a bit disappointed. Overall, good little spot. Not rushing back though.More infoLittle WaterPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Center City•4.6

The newly remodeled restaurant is beautiful, and the ambience was warm and buzzing. Can’t forget the food — which was wonderful. Owner Ellen Yin was there circulating and helping out the staff, which really made the whole night special. Thank you Fork for helping make this year’s Christmas festivities memorable!More infoFork - PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Old City•4.7

The tuna tasting appetizer is a cut above many others- along with superb sushi and sashimi options. The Udon, which I have had twice and cannot get enough of, was excellent. The sake menu is also a big plus, you will find some nice sakes which is always a challenge in other restaurants, if they provide any at all. Dine in, the restaurant is very nice inside and you can watch the chefs in the open kitchen, a real treat!More infoShiso Noodle and Sushi BarPrice: Expensive• Ramen• Bella Vista•4.8
- CCindyPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Roxanne’s New Chapter is Even Better Than Before! Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Roxanne in its new location, and let me tell you—it’s a revelation. While the original spot was already exceptional, this new chapter elevates the experience in every way. The tasting menu strikes the perfect balance of honoring beloved classics while introducing bold new favorites. Longtime fans will be thrilled to see signature dishes like the scallop and duck make a triumphant return, each as flawless as ever. But the new additions are equally dazzling—particularly the rigatoni, octopus, and scallop, each a masterclass in flavor and technique. And then there’s the cheeseburger. Magical doesn’t even begin to cover it. Imagine all your expectations of a burger, then multiply them by ten. The genius behind it all is Chef Alex - an original in every sense. Her creativity is matched only by her warmth, making the dining experience feel both elevated and personal. She’s not just redefining what great food is—she’s redefining how it feels to enjoy it. If you haven’t been to the new Roxanne, run, don’t walk. It’s a culinary triumph that honors its past while paving the way for an even brighter future.More infoRoxannePrice: Expensive• American• Queen Village•4.7
- JJan1Philadelphia County •4 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 4, 2020Our server, Elena, was exceptional in her timing and attention, as were other staff members. I think the pricing is rather steep. The noise level was quite acceptable as the restaurant was at capacity and we marveled how the cook staff quietly went about their business with an occasional laugh at one another.More infoSerpico - PhiladelphiaPrice: Very Expensive• American• Center City•4.7
