Amazing food, great service and really good atmosphere. Second time I've been here, I chose a different dish and it was just as great as the last time. Really impressed with this restaurant, will definitely be back the next time I'm in Oxford

The Orator was a great choice for a relaxed family family lunch. The main attraction was its large, airy and gracious dining room: high-ceilinged and flooded with light on a sunny Sunday. It was also not super busy. Perhaps Cambridge has not yet cottoned on to what a nice place this is. Food was pretty good, wine was fairly priced and, all in all, it made a very agreeable change from The Ivy.

Wonderful food in a lovely atmosphere. We had the seven course tasting menu and it was a great experience - beautifully presented with unusual flavour combinations that really worked! I would have given 5 stars for the service too, were it not for the fact we had to wait WAY too long for our coffee. It turned out that our (two) coffees were delayed by a large cocktail order from the private dining room. I guess they could do with another member of staff or simply train one of the waiters to make coffee.
