   Celebrated 3 birthdays out of 4 people. The Carolers were spectacular. Even sang happy birthday. We haven't been back to the restaurant for several years and it didn't disappoint. Server Shelley was perfect and the food was delicious. 3 birthday people ordered prime rib and agreed it was the best they ever had.

   Our experience was a 10/10 in every respect. Damian was our server and he was attentive, quick and extremely professional. He got everything just right. Honestly, it was the best experience we’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time!

   While the service was good and the atmosphere was lovely, especially with the Victorian Christmas carolers, the food was expensive and not that good. One of us got their classic prime rib which was pretty good. The duck I ordered was literally the worst I've ever had at a restaurant - rubbery and tasteless. For the prices they charge, the quality of the food should be much better!

   The service and food is always great at Five crowns. The only issue I had this time for the company holiday dinner was the location of my table. I understand that it’s Christmas and the tent is up but I was seated at the end of the tent. Unfortunately the heaters were not functioning when we seated and it reeked of propane. They had to open the tent which meant freezing temperature. I asked for blankets but still cold. Wasn’t until the end of dinner when the heater was finally fixed. We were comp’d coffee for being cold. I would not be seated in the tent during the winter in the future.

   What a festive evening we had tonight!! The restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holidays and the staff from the valet to servers was top notch! This is a crazy, busy time of year but everyone made us feel welcome. The food was delicious as usual and the carolers were the perfect holiday touch! We look forward to returning for another memorable meal.

   The food is always great, but this time the service was mediocre at best. I do have to say this is a first, and it was the busy holiday season. To begin with, we were seated directly across from the banquet room. It was so loud and uncomfortable, that we requested to move. They did move us a few tables away, but it was still super loud, and we struggled to hear one another at our table. As for the service, this was the worst service we’ve ever experienced here. I think we saw our server twice, and when I asked him about the Irish coffee I had ordered 10-15 minutes earlier, he threw his hand in my face and said he was busy taking orders from the table of 10 next to us. Clearly, our party of 4 wasn’t as important! We have another reservation for Christmas Eve with our son, and I’m considering, however, I know he really wants to go. I do know that if we do go and end up with the same horrible server, I will asked to be re-seated!

    We dined at Five Crowns on 12/13/24 for an early Christmas celebration. The restaurant was busy and lively, displaying lovely Christmas decorations. We had a very nice experience. The service and food were great, with exception of the crème brûlée. It was subpar and disappointing as it was one of only three dessert options. We enjoyed the carolers, but were a bit disappointed they only came into our downstairs dining room once during our 2 hour experience. We had a very enjoyable experience and it helped put us into the holiday spirit. My one recommendation, as long time Five Crowns patrons, to anyone looking to celebrate the holiday here, don’t wait until Christmas Eve to dine here. We’ve dined here a few times on Christmas Eve. On those occasions, the restaurant is EXTREMELY BUSY, reservation times are significantly delayed, service is lacking and staff are just pushing people through. In our experience, there’s not much attention to customer service on Christmas Eve. Those evenings have not been enjoyable and we’ll never go back on Christmas Eve.
