Located in Fulton Market District within Chicago’s bustling West Loop, Formento’s is an Italian restaurant steeped with the bright and fresh flavors of Italy. Created as a nod to the owner’s grandmother, guests will experience an array of dishes from house-made pastas, seasonal antipasti and wood-fired fish and steak. At Formento’s, Chef David Schwartz combines new world culinary creativity with generations past. Our world-class wine program offers guests more than 300 varietals from around world.

From the oysters to the carpaccio and can’t forget the focaccia, so delish. We each had a pasta and even the risotto, 1 was better than the next. Was a chef’s kiss.

Formento's has amazing service, an elegant yet still casually fun ambiance and incredible food. These white beans as a side were way too delicious and every pasta we had was heaven!

Amazing whipped ricotta, and the Paccheri pasta was so good! We had an amazing meal, and dessert was delicious, minus only one star because they forgot to bring out my earl grey tea. Otherwise wonderful very attentive service! Great Chicago spot

Really enjoyed our meal. The fried calamari were some of the best I’ve had in years. Perfectly cooked and extremely crispy. Excellent service.

went for a family dinner of 7 people and sat at a round booth where we could all hear and see each other! food was delicious and service was great!
