   What a lovely restaurant in downtown Clayton! The lighting and ambience is very warm and cozy. Service is outstanding and the food and cocktails were fresh and delicious. Its sister restaurant, Fortify Pi , next door is terrific as well. The management must be top notch as we have found the staff to be as hospitable and accommodating as any we have ever encountered!! Just a delightful experience.

   As always, we truly enjoyed our evening at Fortify. Jorge’s attentive service was impeccable and Tyler shook some mighty fine Martini’s. We really enjoy the chef’s creative new items on the menu as well as the classic mainstays. All the dishes were delicious. Jack and Daniel have recruited a welcoming and friendly team at Fortify, consistently offering an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. We love dining at Fortify. Gita and Joe Gardner

   This was our first visit to this restaurant & overall it was very good. We had several apps just tasting different options, the portobello mushroom was excellent, the fritters and the chicken tenders were very good. However, the fried green tomatoes were not good, the tomatoes hard (not ripe) and the temp of the grits were cool. Overall, we still gave it a 4 & would return, but wouldn’t order a couple of items. In addition, our server was excellent and she had such a super personality.

   Food was amazing!!! Service was a bit slow, weren't too many patrons, not sure why they were slow waiting on is? But food made up for it

   Olivia and the cooks did a superb let a wonderful Valentine experience. My husband had fish/grits/sautéd spinach and I had the trout/braised Brussel sprouts. Both dishes tasted excellent! Our waitress Olivia was very knowledgeable with presenting the specials for the evening and her customer service skills were above average! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great meal for any occasion!
