   Good was great. Booked thinking we were going to have the breakfast buffet we have had several times before but it wasn’t on. Coffee was good but not HOT (warm), food was excellent. Ordered the Italian sausage with my breakfast and it was spicy! Wish this was stated on menu. Restaurant is clean and conveniently located near BC Place and Roger’s Arena.

   We had gone to Frankies in Chilliwack many times and the food and ambience was excellent. We thought we would try the Frankie's downtown and were disappointed. It seems like a sad hotel restaurant chain. We were placed in a small booth in the back even though the restaurant was mostly empty and then were ignored for l5 minutes until we called over a server. The menu was much different, less seasonal and much heavier. Our server was excellent once we had one but she couldn't make up for the horrible food. Overall won't be coming back when there are much better restaurants nearby.

I’m really sorry to hear your experience at our downtown location didn’t live up to what you’ve come to enjoy at our Chilliwack spot—that’s definitely not the kind of visit we want our guests to have. It’s disappointing to hear you were seated in the back and left waiting, especially with the dining room mostly empty. That shouldn’t have happened, and we’ll be following up with our team to make sure we’re being more attentive from the get-go.    Our waitress was very good and efficient. We never felt neglected and she took great care of the needs of the table. Great service and experience. Thank You

   Tried the casarecce boscaiola and it definitely delivered in terms of portion size. Couldnt really taste the truffle though and pasta was alil overcooked (just for my preference). But lots of sauce which was nice to mop up with bread. 7/10. The calamari unfortunately was not very crispy. 4/10. Price overall is reasonable. Service was very fast! Atmosphere borders cosy/romantic with the dim lighting and booths. Music leaned more towards upbeat though

   First time trying Frankie’s and from start to finish everything was excellent. Next time we are in the City we will be returning
