Very average Eggs Benedict and half the potatoes were burnt. Super disappointed - was expecting excellent food and coffee given the standard of hotel Fresh Salt resides in. The ambiance is lovely, the decor beautiful and the views amazing! Really sad the food and coffee were not to the same standard. Not inspired to come back for any other meal. I hugely appreciated NOT being shoved in a corner like so many restaurants treat lone diners! Thank you for that!

In addition, prices were higher. The server was very attentive when we arrived, but disappeared for 20 minutes when we were finished our main course and wanted to order dessert.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Celebrated my wife’s birthday and had the the cheese board, the lobster roll and pork chops. All were outstanding! It was a quiet night and the seating by the harbor was perfect. It was wonderfully romantic setting.

When booking, I think you need to tell the customer if they will not be in the dining room.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Our late lunch early dinner was fabulous on New Year's Day 2025. Our waitress, Barbara, was very friendly, energetic, helpful and wonderfully nice-she gets all the kudos for a great visit. We will definitely return to Fresh Salt.

                                                                                                                                                                                          We desired a special experience for Christmas Eve dinner. Our tradition is to try a different restaurant every year. Fresh Salt did not disappoint. We sat in the tavern area adjacent to windows overlooking the marina, therefore, the ambiance was conducive to an intimate experience. We ordered calamari sriracha and peppers as an appetizer and the pork chop with mixed vegetables and salmon with risotto as entrees. We also ordered tiramisu for dessert. All were appropriately prepared and presented. The service was efficient and thorough. I would like to revisit during the day to catch the scenic view and during boating season.
