   Wonderful everything. Ambiance outstanding and the white table cloths are hard to find. Bare tables are so uninviting. Personnel top notch. Looking forward to a return trip.

   Bueno pero esperábamos mas del postre (soufle de chocolate) ahí entendimos, porque en algún momento tuvieron estrella Michelin, sin embargo, consideramos que sus platos son quizá demasiado tradicionales o falta cierto toque, renovación e incluso de originalidad.  yo pedí el pato con estaba perfectamente ejecutado y además pedimos la langosta, la cual no sorprendió. El postre más popular es sufre de chocolate, realmente era insípido, mientras que el pan francés era mejor de lo esperado. Lo más agradable de la cena fue la excelente atención, amabilidad de los meseros y la calidez con que te reciben y despiden

   Food and wine were delicious. The only complanit was that they tried to rush us through our meal...delivering the wine pairing when we had just stated on the earlier one, etc. In the end, we made it a game to stay longer...ordered a coffee and refill, etc. We left well within the allocated time for a reservation, BTW.

   Service was as you would expect from a Michelin Star restaurant. Extraordinarily great. A special shout out to Carson, the Sommelier. He not only knew his wines but was also funny and engaging. The ambiance was terrific. Overall, the food was very good - the Caviar, Ahi Tuna, Mushroom Tartlet, Beef, and Cheese course are all highly recommended. The Quail, though, was not. It was dry, bland, and likely overcooked. Overall, it was a very good experience. We will return. And will refer.

   Freezing cold inside. Server clearly not interested in hospitality. Pacing of courses against those that arrived at same seating was significantly off. Sent dessert back due to containing alcohol which yielded a charge for a 6th course.

    Gary Danko is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant of all time. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is warm and inviting the space is always adorned with beautiful, fresh flower arrangements that elevate the entire experience. The food is simply divine. Every dish is perfectly balanced and thoughtfully prepared. My personal favorites include the oysters in a creamy sauce generously topped with caviar—an indulgent and luxurious start to any meal. The seafood risotto is another standout, not so rich and perfectly cooked. And the roasted lobster? Absolutely exquisite—sweet, tender, and bursting with flavor. Dessert is always a highlight, and their soufflé is an absolute must. It's the perfect ending to an already unforgettable meal. And let’s not forget the cocktails—the Margaritas at Gary Danko are the best I’ve ever had, hands down. Service is top-notch. The staff are impeccably dressed and always attentive without being overbearing. They genuinely care about your experience, which makes each visit feel special. Forget the Michelin stars— Gary Danko outshines many of the two-star establishments in San Francisco by miles. For me, it’s a destination I look forward to returning to time and time again.
