22% service charge is included on every check. 18% is distributed directly to service workers on top of their base wages, and the remaining 4% is used to help pay for all staff costs due to the District of Columbia's Initiative 82. You may choose to leave an additional tip!

Cannot substitute side choices. Comes with collard greens. No bread unless you pay for it. Bread basket is too much for two people. No crackers with gumbo. $$30 for fried chicken. Not impressed at all.

The servers were friendly and nice. The bar was extremely slow. Our entrees were served well before any of the drinks arrived. I am glad the wine was to be opened at the table because we were almost finished eating by the time it was served.
