    Have not been to the Desert Botanical Garden for awhile but always try to enjoy a meal or at least a drink and snack at Gertrude's. They have expanded the menu, which was needed for those who frequent the restaurant. I had the Lamb Mole Enchiladas, which looked as fabulous as they tasted. The mole was perfect with a deep, savory chocolate sauce. My friend had the Lentil Chop that was beautifully plated with varying textures, very lightly dressed. The wait staff is experienced and gracious. We were fortunate to have a server who has been with the cafe since it opened. Book well in advance. Everyone loves this place.

    We made a meal of appetizers. The Gorgonzola and garlic was amazing! Everything was wonderful - including the freshly made donut desert.

    Catherine was an amazingly great server - for our group of 14. The restaurant staff were also excellent in placing our large group at the edge of the patio - we got fairly loud in our socializing, so felt comfortable there.

    Enjoyable meal with friends on the patio. Missed some of the pulled pork items that have been pulled from menu but breakfast was great and chicken posole pleased our guests. We will return as a walk in the garden is best when it ends at Gertrude’s

    All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our server was attentive and had good input on the menu. Go after 7pm for a more peaceful and adult experience. Good selection of wine too.

    Gertrude's remains a favorite place to take out-of-town guests. The selection of local foods and wines is outstanding, service is terrific, and the setting is always beautiful.

    Delicious meal. Wine, though expensive, was delicious. My friend & I shared an appetizer on roasted cauliflower & shochita pepper glazed with Sriracha. Next time I'm ordering it with it on the side. Really hot. We split a burger which was delicious. Just enough for the both of us because it had a bunch of great toppings. It also came with fingerling potatoes. This place is worth the trip.
