Our waiter did not check on us as much as we would have liked. We had a party of 10, with 2 pitchers of water that got filled only 2 times the entire time. It took the waiter 20-30 min to get his 2nd beer & did not mention the specials until I asked. Other wise good experience

The food and drinks were excellent. Wait staff extremely friendly and attentive. We were in Anchorage for a week on business. We ended up at Glacier’s 3 out of the 5 nights we were there. The decor is very cozy with a large wood burning fireplace to keep diners warm. Highly recommend!

Located in downtown Anchorage, there is great paid parking nearby which is a plus. The decor is very nice but this is a sizable restaurant and the noise level was quite high even in a Thursday night at 6 PM. This is definitely not a place for a romantic, intimate meal. We had the smoked salmon dip as an appetizer which was pretty good after we spent about 5 minutes mixing it ourselves, I’d definitely rethink the presentation of that. Two of us had the seafood fettuccine which was not stingy on the seafood, noodles were al dente as the should be and the sauce was adequate but not very flavorful. The other two ordered the peppercorn steak which they said was very tender, but it came with masked potatoes and French fried onion sticks instead of a nice vegetable, weird. The last of our table had the ribs which came with cornbread in a cute black skillet and cole slaw, she enjoyed the meal but again, no veggies. The non alcoholic drinks were very good, the gin cocktail I had was on too much ice so it watered down quickly. Skip the Revelation Rose which was very disappointing. The server was fine and didn’t charge me for the wine which was kind. Our two couples shared crème brûlée which again, was adequate (not flavorful) but I’ve had much better in other nearby restaurants. All in all we had a nice evening but I’d probably stick with Simon & Seaforts or Cafe Paris.

Great food, doesn't feel crowded, close to 49th State Brewing Company where we were going to see a performance of the annual Fur Rondy Melodrama.

Food was good and environment delightful, but service was extremely slow at all stages of meal. Lunch took 2 hours and it was not crowded. Clearly understaffed.
