You feel a great energy when you walk into the Glass House Tavern. The decor is soothing and warm, and their neighborhood hospitality makes guests feel welcome. The prompt, friendly service is delightful and the food is incredible.

The contemporary American menu sets this restaurant apart from the other choices in the neighborhood. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the emphasis here and the results are fantastic.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants during my annual visits to NYC. The food is simply amazing.

We had early dinner reservations so we could attend a play. The service was prompt, friendly, and courteous. The food was delicious!

We sat in the bar for lunch. Everything was delicious especially the cheesecake for dessert. The staff was very friendly and the bartender/waiter makes a great Manhattan.

We came before a show and ordered the set menu. Informed server of our timing needs and allowed 1 1/2 hours to eat. Had to miss dessert (still paid for it) and barely made it out in time. Don’t advertise you can work with a showtime if you cannot.

We were seated on time at a very nice table. Wait staff came over immediately. Food choices were good and there were specials. Food was excellent and well-priced.

We chose Glass House because it was close to the theatre we were going to and the menu looked reasonable. What a lovely surprise to find perfectly prepared duck breast, tender short ribs, and excellent side dishes. The desserts were equally good - who knew you could whip cheese cake! Our waiter, Walter was friendly and skilled, as was the entire team. I won't need evening plans in the neighborhood to plan another meal here.
