   We’ve been coming to Granite City for years. But I honestly don’t understand why they take reservations but still make you wait?? The last two times I made an Open Table reservation and both times they still had us wait 15-20 minutes. The dining room isn’t full. For walk-ins they said the wait was 25 minutes. After waiting for 15 minutes, we went up to the hostess to ask what the delay was, and they seated us right away. Seriously, why have a reservation system when you’re not adhering to it?

   We had reservations and were seated ~ 10 minutes after our reservation time. However, there were so many people waiting for tables it was uncomfortable. Too many people crowded into the entry, and it was so loud you couldn't have a conversation. There needs to be a little more crowd control while waiting to be seated.

   Our server was incredibly attentive and caring. They made us feel welcomed and provided us with all the food we ordered in a timely manner.

   The greasy, slippery floor I was terrified to walk to our table with my 80 y/o mother was the first sign this place lost control. Waiting over 20 minutes for a Bloody Mary was the second sign this would be a disappointment. The food is basic (buffet) and service removing plates was nonexistent. An overall a less than stellar experience that cost $25 per person. I’d expect better but this is Granite City, which has gone so far down hill.

   Took 45 minutes for an appitizer the tank behind us were seated after us and had their 3 appitizers before us it also took way to long for our food . Over all the dinner was horrible!!

   Our waiter was helpful and respectful of the elderly people at our table who were having a difficult time hearing. We were a group of 6, and our meals weren't served simultaneously which proved to be a little awkward. One complaint is that one of the ingredients on the menu for the ""build your own omelette" (broccoli) was not available. Of the many times we've been at this restaurant, they've been "out of broccoli". Perhaps taking this ingredient off the menu would be less disappointing to those who want it. The food was good as was the service.

   The service and food are always great. That's why we come back. Our server introduces themselves and checks in with us to make sure our beverages and food is perfect. And it always is.

   Our server went above and beyond to get us taken care of. It seemed like he had a lot of big tables to serve but did it very well. Thanks

    Our reservation was for 12:30 and we arrived on time. Terribly disappointed that there was NO prime rib. We have eaten brunch here several other times and this was extremely disappointing. I consider the brunch over priced with no prime rib available.
