   First time at this restaurant so we walked in at exactly 5pm and was told by the hostess that the first available seating would be at 7pm at which point we decided to start looking for other options. While on the parking lot we decided to look at the restaurants profile and it showed available reservations for 5:15 which we booked and headed back inside to see the hostess and got seated right away. Not sure why we were told that the first available seating would be 2 hours after we arrived since the restaurant was about a third full and the whole time we were there people kept being seated. Food was decent and we were served fairly quick. The best part of our experience was the server as she was very personable and checked up on us just the right amount. She was surprised to hear about our experience with the hostess and didn’t know why they would turn us away with how little amount of people were there.

   Calculate the ‘specials’ individually before getting it. If cost is less, they will upcharge the difference under a bogus line item so you actually pay more for the meal than if you just bought them individually. So yes I totally got scammed. Otherwise food was ok. Crispy Brussel Sprouts decent but not as good as competitor version. Chicken tortilla soup was pretty tasty but was not very warm. Millionaire burger also good but boat loads of grease. Friday drink special was at least great and a good deal. Though waiter was nice, he slammed things on our table every time.

   Food was very good. The amount of food was too much. The salad was very large for a salad before the main course. With the appetizer and salad could not finish the main course and still be able to eat the desert. Left very full the rest of the evening. Overall the valentine dinner special for $69 was a great deal - don’t get that very often at restaurants.

   Wanted a place to grab a decent meal before heading out for the rest of our Valentine's Day evening. They had a dinner for 2 deal that included appetizer, soup or salad, entree and dessert for 69.00. We had the shrimp app, an amazing cheese soup, both had the sirloin (cooked to perfection!!) that came with garlic potatoes and fantastic green beans almondine. Truly it was as good of a meal as we usually expect from an 'upscale' restaurant. Our server was on point as well! Dessert was an over the top bread pudding AND a type of chocolate lava cake that was filled with chocolate mousse. Everything was perfection - except to find out that the desserts are not on the regular menu haha! Would definitely be getting those next time we come back.

   Food and ambience was very good. The server was very sweet and attentive to my needs as far as my allergies. Asian glazed shrimp was phenomenal. The Cesar salad was delicious and the chicken tuscano was tasty. I tried the northern beer and it was light and good. I definitely recommend this place.

   It was my first time here and I would definitely come back. The food was pretty good. I finished my bison burger and sweet potato fries. They had really good drinks. I had their lavender refresher. It wasn’t too loud or crowded. We were seated right away. Our server was great. And they didn’t kick us out even though we didn’t realize we were the last ones there after closing. Overall good experience.

   Haven’t been to Granite City in years. Very disappointed and food tasted reheated and not very good. Did enjoy the nachos and soup but not much else.

   Time to update the vinyl in the booths or at least put some tape on them. They are in really bad shape. Great food!

    The brunch was very good, As soon as an item became low They removed the tray and replaced with a fresh tray. Everything tasted very good. You can order an omlette of your choice.
