   Had a group of 4 meet up for the Sunday Lawless Brunch. The food selection was great. Nice variety of breakfast and lunch items including sweet, savory, shrimp, meats, and potato variations. The mimosa set-up with a bottle of champagne and 4 juices was a good idea and great value. The service despite this being a brunch bar was pretty much non-existent. One drink never came, and we constantly had to ask for a coffee refill. Everything was great except the service.

   Very good experience dining at Granite City. Chose from the special 2 for $25 menu, which included appetizer and main course. On my plate, the fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and good quantity. My wrap sandwich was good sized and tasty. On my wife's plate, the only complaint was the woody ends of the asparagus should have been removed prior to serving. Waitress was very good. Made a point of checking back with us to see how the food was, but not intrusive. Kept soda and water glasses refilled without me waiting/asking. Was pleasant and helpful. Great job. Noise level was moderate, but not obnoxious. It was nice to see families dining at a normal hour. There were a couple games playing (March Madness), but it didn't intrude.

   The hostesses were very nice in explaining that we need 1/2 our party before seating us. Our server literally gave 12 people separate bills and was able to keep track! The food was outstanding. Will definitely be back!

   I had a top steak which was excellent. Service was excellent as well. At times a couple of groups were exceedingly loud which diminished the overall experience.

   I had the buffalo Mac and cheese and loved it. Had a great amount of heat and the serving size was generous. My wife had the spicy chicken sandwich. She thought it was great, if a tad warm. It was another great visit to our favourite restaurant to visit when we visit.
