Based on the reviews, I have really been wanting to eat there. It’s probably been 20 plus years. It is in a great location in Old Town - especially during the holiday season. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was the only positive thing. We had a reservation and the hostess went to check that the table was ready and that the waitress was ready. We were sat fairly promptly. After 10 minutes, we had not been acknowledged as all. I had to flag down the host - who apologized and said he would let our waitress know. She came about two minutes later, confirmed we all wanted water, and took an order for drinks. No apology about the delay. From that point onward, the service was adequate but very average - 3 stars. The appetizer and then shortly after the entrees came. A $19 salad had a thin layer of spinach and a small amount of dressing. Several proteins were available for an additional charge. We did not order a protein, however for an entree salad, the portion was barely a starter salad. Portions of two additional entrees were adequate but on the small side - priced between $19 and $26. The food was bland. The last entree was a green chili cheeseburger which had a very small amount of green chili “hidden” under the cheese. Just an OK burger. Unfortunately nothing special. High Noon is somewhat of an institution having been in Old Town for a long time. But the food was barely “tourist” quality. Probably another 20 years before we will try again. Disappointed. Parking: Parking is very difficult in Old Town - especially this time of year. No better or worse at High Noon.

Hidden gem in Old Town, who knew! The shrimp pasta with creamy red chile was super tasty. Just a hint of red chile but oh so flavorful. Service was phenomenal and the restaurant is very cozy. The bar made us a mean old fashioned. Will come back for sure!

My wife and I are currently on a cross-country road trip from Ontario to Palm Springs, California, with a two-night stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico. During our stay, we discovered High Noon Restaurant and Saloon while exploring local dining options. Impressed by its reviews, we chose it as one of our planned dinner spots—and it exceeded expectations. Our server, Michelle, provided outstanding service, rivaled only by the exceptional food. We both selected the San Felipe Burrito with chicken and enjoyed every flavorful bite. The restaurant’s ambiance, paired with the authentic New Mexican flavors, created an unforgettable dining experience. We highly recommend High Noon Restaurant and Saloon as a top choice for dinner in Albuquerque’s Old Town.

The steak was great. The “enchiladas” with steak were a miss. The queso was so-so. The guac was terrific. Overall, inconsistent but would try it again.

Wonderful dining experience. Outstanding food. Dillon, our waiter, was attentive and takes being a waiter to a whole new level. I had the best bread pudding ever!

The food was good as always but the fries and potato/mushroom enchiladas were a little in the cold side. Other than that, it was great!!! Love the ambiance!
