The price of $108 for a filet mignon is way over priced. I don’t mind paying for expensive dinners when it’s worth the price. This was a special occasion and we wanted something special. However, the $108 steak was just mediocre, the $40 side salad was just salad. The service for an expensive dinner you would expect to be outstanding, nope. Our waiter ignored us for 30 minutes, we would have ordered more wine, we would have ordered dessert. By the time we saw our waiter water glasses were empty and we just wanted to leave. I’ve been to Hugo’s years ago, it’s my opinion they have gone downhill. I wish we would have gone to STK instead.

The cocktail lounge area of the restaurant needs a waiter. If you are early for your reservation and would like to grab a drink, you have to find a table, then walk up to the bar between people and try to get a drink. Once at your table, the staff is exceptional—old school all the way! I like how all entrees include the amazing table-tossed salad, a starch, and vegetables, with a chocolate-covered strawberry to end. Dress up, don't be in a hurry, and enjoy the night! Yes, it is in the 4 Queens Hotel and Casino, but the dining transports you into another era.

We have been going t6o Hugo's Cellar for over 30 years every time we come to Vegas. Consistantly a great meal and service. It is a real classic old Vegas gem. Muts make reservations and highly recommend it. Thank you!

Service was amazing! Food was not worth what we paid. I tried the Chilean sea bass and it was tough and rubbery. Saffron rice tasted like rice a roni. My husband has the rib eye and it was very average. He was asked if he wanted steak sauce which we have never been asked that. When he ate it he realized why they asked. he did not finish it. The best part of my meal was the table side salad. This was our first time here but won’t be returning.

My fiancé and I have always enjoyed Hugo’s, but our recent visit for my dad’s birthday was deeply disappointing. We ordered the Rack of Lamb, and my fiancé, who is allergic to peanuts, suspected peanuts in the sauce. The menu only described it as “Indonesian sauce,” with no mention of peanuts. When we alerted the server, he blamed us for not reading the menu and showed no concern for the allergy. Despite the reaction, we were charged in full. This negligence and lack of accountability left us shocked and determined never to return.

Our dining experience at Hugo’s was one of our favorite evenings of the week. The ambiance was very nice and our food was delicious. The table side salad was very good and we enjoyed the variety of options. We had the Scottish salmon with potatoes au gratin and the sea bass with fingerling potatoes for our entrees. The whole experience was very enjoyable and we were happy with choosing Hugo’s as our last dinner in Vegas. The hotel where it is located is a bit sketchy.

The food was delicious and a good value. The booth we sat in was too tight. We could barely get in and out. Our waiter did a great job. The free birthday dessert was delicious.
