   I love the old school, gentlemen’s club feel and vibe. Its has amazing art work and building texture. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food was amazing, filling, and affordable. It was also fresh and delicious. The staff were tentative and friendly. It was overall and wonderful experience that I recommend anyone visiting or locally should come.

   Another great dinner at Hy’s! Escargot , lobster bisque, Caesar salad, prime rib, garlic steak, and topping it off with cherries jubilee! We have been going to Hy’s for special dinners/occasions for many years and well taken care of by Stuart, Vince, Kirby and others. However… My original reservation was for a table of 7 but due to unforeseen circumstances had to change to a party of 6. When I called, the receptionist stated that Hy’s might not be able to accommodate us if I needed to change again. I was taken aback by her statement as it certainly conveyed an unwillingness to accommodate your customers.

   The experience here is like no other. The attention given by the wait staff, the atmosphere and aesthetics of the place is great. The food never disappoints.

   Vince and the staff were fantastic; we had to leave early because my wife wasn’t feeling well and they were warm, accommodating, and most importantly for me, moved with a sense of urgency so I could get her home quickly. We absolutely love Hy’s and can’t wait to come back to resume our date night.

   Service to our table was delayed, and it appeared that the server had been working on the other two tables that were together a lot quicker than serving our party. Took three hours dining and almost a half hour before we were able to order dessert after completing the meal.

   We enjoyed being greeted with valet parking. As we entered , we were asked if we had a reservation & name. We were a little early but they were happy to sit us. We opted to sit at the bar. This was great. The two lady bartenders were friendly & professional. We were asked if we had any food allergies. The food & drinks were great. It is not inexpensive but well worth the cost.

   Everything was great service was above and beyond, smoked old fashions were probably the best I’ve ever had. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Love the smoke flavor.

   Seriously the best. Best service, best food, best ambiance. We’ve been to other steakhouses in Hawaii and nothing compares. Will always choose Hy’s.

    The experience at Hy's was excellent from start to finish. The valet, the greeting hostess, Ms. Grace's table team, especially Cameron who is clearly a young gentleman to be noted. Each member of our table team was happy, respectful and helpful at every point of our visit. From the moment we walked in the door the air was filled with delicious scents of the the various dishes on each of the tables. Just walking through Hy's dining room was a wonderful aromatic experience. The food was outstanding. As was the presentation of each dish. The ambience of Hy's is both beautiful and classy. The decor shows great thought went into its gathering and elegant arrangement. To say that we had a wonderful time it's an understatement of considerable proportions. My family and I will happily return to Hy's in the future!
