Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there.

Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.

The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm & elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations. The whole restaurant will feel like a quirky southern aristocrat’s home…just not exactly what you might think.

    Excellent fried chicken and chicken and waffles. Would not recommend the biscuits. They were smaller and not as good as I remembered. Sweet potatoes were too spicy. Should tell customer of this fact when ordering.

    It was a wonderful dining experience. I do not like southern food, but appreciated the pun in the name “Ida Clare.” That’s why I came. I was not disappointed. The entry is inviting. The book art on the wall was so clever! Although I was prepared to have fried this ant that because it is a southern food restaurant, the kale salad was such a pleasant surprise. That’s so thoughtful. I enjoyed the creativity in the addition of mustard seeds in the salad. I loved my grapefruit mocktail. I would have enjoyed some homemade vanilla ice cream with dark chocolate syrup and strawberries 🍓. Or how about strawberry shortcake??

    Our server was amazing and I am still craving the cinnamon latte and all the brunch menu was delicious! Great job executing and we loved it!

    I celebrated my birthday at Ida Claire! From my phone call to Lay the hostess to our waiter, Jaylen we were really impressed with everything. My favorite dish was the Redfish & orzo. We enjoyed the fried oysters, biscuits and crab cakes as appetizers. Also, the bone in chicken and waffles and monte Cristo sandwich were also delicious. The porkchop was a little dry this time. Overall, we had a great night!

    Friday night was reasonably busy at the restaurant . I enjoyed the steak and noodle salad. Wine selection is wonderful as well. Ample parking is a plus.

    Seriously can’t recommend Ida Claire enough! I’ve been several times for dinner and have always enjoyed the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. I went to happy hour tonight with a girl friend and the waiter found out we were celebrating my engagement. He had the entire staff sign a card and brought two glasses of champagne at the end of the meal. It was so incredibly thoughtful and kind - I will definitely be back soon!
