IL Cortile has been family owned and run since 1975. A neighborhood staple in the heart of Little Italy, NYC for over 40 years the Esposito family continues the tradition of sparing nothing to provide only the highest quality ingredients in all Cortile dishes.
We are a full Service Restaurant Establishment offering both A-La-Carte dining and a wide variety of pre-fix menus for group gatherings as well as off premise catering. We can accommodate gluten free and vegan diets. Everything is made to order.

    The atmosphere was beautiful, service was great. The food was good could have been excellent if it was homemade. Very disappointed because it was not homemade when the other restaurant around have homemade!

    Beautiful place and the food is honestly fabulous. It was a bit cold in the bit we sat at. Other than that the atmosphere and food really makes the this a great place to eat.

    Great time as usual. Haven’t been since 2017. Started going in 2001 so we’ve been dining a long time. Love everything about. Especially outside decorations!!!

    We had a wonderful time. Was a large group of cousins who see each other twice a year and we all loved the restaurant and the staff, our waiter Frank was unbelievable. Food was delicious and Franks guidance on choices and wine super helpful. The decorations made it so festive. We thank you for a really great night!!! Merry Christmas
