This is a special occasion restaurant. Expensive, but very special. Food and service were wonderful. Table was extremely close to the next table and we could not get out easily enough.

I feel like I've written this before. I find the support staff aka busboys servers to be short, not friendly and not particularly well trained. Reaching across the table for dishes. Rushing. It's not a diner. I go back for the food and ambiance I would probably go more often if I felt relaxed by the service

Last night’s dinner was very disappointing. We had a very good experience at Il Mulino about a month prior, but last night was a big disappointment. Despite noting weeks in advance that we had a birthday and asked for a quiet table for four, we were placed in a small cramped table in the mos thigh trafficked area right by the kitchen. While we saw multiple tables empty, they said “those tables are reserved for others.” In addition, despite notifying the restaurant weeks in advance and last night of an allergy, multiple courses were served with the allergen. While we recognize that regulars may be treated better, we were treated like $0.02 and won’t be returning.
