   Overall I was disappointed at the experience. The room was loud, the furniture and decor tired (isn't a huge issue, but expected more based on the price of the food) and the food mediocre. Started with calamari which was prefrozen and not dusted before cooking, Caesar salad was swimming in dressing and pappardelle was undercooked, and the sauce could be compared to canned soup rather than a cream sauce as described. My guests had the orecchiette which was very tasty. Wish I had selected this pasta instead of pappardelle.

   The pasta was tasty as was the caprese salad. However, the Chicken Parm was over cooked and unenjoyable. That coupled with the obnoxious music and uncomfortable seating make this a one-time visit for us.

   While the front of the restaurant has a nice ambiance the rear and upstairs are lacking. Too bright, nothing on the walls. If you can get a table on the bar side then nice atmosphere otherwise lacking.

   Our group of ladies enjoyed our lunch, the flavours were wonderful and our waitress was very accommodating and efficient. We would definitely go back to II Postino’s in Unionville!

   I went last evening with Friends and not knowing there was an upstairs when I made the reservation, We were seated upstairs. I would have made the reservation for downstairs if I had known. Upstairs was not cozy compared to when I came in. I mentioned to hostess and she accommodated and set us up downstairs which I very much appreciated. The food was absolutely excellent. Service was impeccable and always on point. Ambiance was much cozier downstairs and will make request for there in the future. Will definitely be back.

   Very good food - seafood linguine was a weekday treat. Friendly and efficient service. I’d certainly go back if in the area.

   Service and food were excellent. However the menu has not been changed for a few years. Hope they will have a new menu soon.

    We were a party of 4 and had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to the chef but also to our server Michelle who was friendly, attentive and just an overall joy! Thank you for a fantastic evening!!
