   We enjoyed the loveliest Thanksgiving dinner with J. Gilbert’s while traveling for the NFL. We are so thankful for the opportunity to have a family dinner together, the food was wonderful and the staff is incredible.

   This was our second time at J. Gilbert’s for Thanksgiving. Our party all enjoyed the Thanksgiving special. The bisque and Caesar salad were excellent. The turkey was great and the sides exactly what we all liked. Another lovely experience.

   I expected turkey carved from a whole turkey, not a turkey breast roast. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, and stuffing were good. Green beans were tough. Pumpkin pie seemed like a defrosted frozen pie. Had to send the medium ordered steak back because it was overdone. It came backed under cooked, not medium. We didn't send it back because others were half way through their meal. For what was paid, the food was below par. I'm hoping this is a one time thing. We are usually happy with the food.

   This was the first time my wife and I had been to J. Gilbert's and it was a wonderful experience. I had the Kansas City strip; it was juicy and very flavorful; one of the best steaks I've ever had. My wife had the crab cakes and loved them. Only one downside in the whole meal; the crab bisque soup was just too salty! I should have sent it back. The desserts were very tasty and presented so nicely. I had the chocolate fudge cake; it was soooo good! Service was impecable! We will definitely be back to J Gilbert's.

   We dined at J Gilberts on 11/23 for our anniversary. We chose prime rib which was disappointing. It was tough and not as flavorful as we usually experience there. Remainder of meal, salad, sides and dessert were good. Service was great.

    The food was amazing, my only regret was I waited too long to order and they ran out of prime rib. It hurt a little but the filet was amazing, prepared perfectly. We ordered the crab bisque which was simply delectable. Could have eaten a gallon of it but they didn’t have gallon bowls. So delicious, will be going again soon.
