   Steak cooked as asked! Scallop dinner not hot but tasty as always. Friendly server & birthday acknowledgment was great! We rarely miss birthday dinners at J.Gilberts!

   Great steaks. The pastrami wings (chicken wings grilled with pastrami seasoning) were excellent. Good side dishes, service was ok I think they were just very busy.

   We went to the bar to wait for our table (there was 4 of us). Three of us sat down at barstools in the middle of the bar for 15 minutes and not one bartender looked at us, acknowledged us, so, obviously we did not get served - for 15 minutes! At the bar! So, was not off to a great start. The food service was pretty slow, which, on a Friday night during the holidays is expected and at a finer dining restaurant I really don’t mind it, but, it was pretty slow. Our salads came out before our appetizers. Again, not the end of the world - kitchen must have been backed up. The food was VERY good, all around, so kudos to the chefs, but the service experience was a little “off”.

   Great comeback! Our last two visits were very disappointing. The food quality and presentation was weak. We hoped it was two bad nights … and it was. Tonight was wonderful. Great salads, filet. Salmon, dessert. Fine service. Kudos to the GM and exec chef

   Great ambiance, fantastic food and service! If you want great food but not the uppity attitude, this is the place. The service team is professional and yet personable and welcoming! Also has one of the best steaks in town! Will definitely be back!

    The seating was very fast no wait at all but the service wasn’t good. We waited for 15 minutes to get greeted and at least 15 minutes to finally get our drinks and our order taken. The food was very tasty and lobster entree and the wagyu burger was delicious. Perhaps change the bread it was too hard and not a fan of sourdough.
