   We come to this restaurant quite frequently. Overall very good; this time around not exceptional because service was a little slow and they were out of ribs, which is one of the entrees I look forward to.

   My wife and I have been using J Gilbert’s for special occasions several times a year for over 10 years and have always received five star treatment. Unfortunately, this dinner experience really missed the mark! The food was amazing as always, however, the service today was comparable to a Texas Roadhouse. The server did not offer specials, our waters remained empty for the majority of our meal, my wife was not offered any wine refills, our meals were served with no knives and we had to ask to receive them, and our server was pretty much not present for the meal. I am not typically hyper critical of my dinning experience but when you spend over one hundred dollars on a two person meal you do expect a special experience. It did not ruin my wife’s birthday but did tarnish the evening experience.

   Staff in general was amazing, as always! Food was properly prepared / served, wine was perfectly chilled and lighting was on point.

   Food was very good, and prepared properly, the waitress was excellent and provided a good experience for the evening. Have been going here for over 10 years, is a go to place for a great meal and experience.

   J gilberts is a go to location for a date night with the Mrs. The experience is always 👌. Only issue on this occasion was the Blue cheese potato chips appetizer. Typically, the blue cheese and sauce is piping hot and poured at the table. Last night it was prepared in the back and it appears as though the cheese may have been poured an hour ahead of time as the cheese was not hot and the presentation was terrible.

   Had the best experience with Kim as our server! Josh gave us a perfect table, nice and quiet! And the food just kept getting better through each course! I went out on limb from my usual steak and ordered ribs. So tender and delicious! My partner said her salmon was incredible! It was worth the drive and we found very reasonably priced! Everyone that came to our table was super friendly too! Enjoyed our dinner immensely! Thanks!
