   Jackson's is my wife's and my favorite restaurant for special dinners ... birthdays, anniversaries, out-of-town guests, etc. The food is exquisite, the ambiance perfect and the service is always spot-on. It's definitely not cheap, but excellence comes with a price ... that is more than worth it. Parking can sometimes be a bit of a hassle, but that applies to many parts of downtown. Book it .. you'll won't be disappointed.

   My husband and I ordered the delicious seafood chowder which was so delicious! He ordered the grouper platter and I had the filet with crabmeat and fried green tomatoes. Everything was wonderful!

   Jackson’s always provides a memorable dining experience. Tonight we celebrated our elderly mother’s birthday at Jackson’s. Our server, Danielle, was delightful in her efforts to make our mother feel celebrated and cared about. It was simply lovely to be tended to by such a kind , attentive young woman. Our meals were also delicious, fresh and perfectly prepared. The halibut with pesto over fresh vegetables was amazing and the lamb chops were tender and wonderfully paired with whipped potatoes and roasted asparagus. Our mother raved about the filet mignon with blue cheese. The fresh baked cheesecake with blueberries compote—— fabulous!! Highly recommend!!!

   Another wonderful evening at Jackson’s! Our second visit in 2 weeks. So good we had to return just to experience another fabulous meal served by Tom Caplinger, our favorite server for years. The best foie gras we have had in years and absolutely succulent halibut! And at a steakhouse!

   Always a 10/10 experience ! I love coming to Jackson steakhouse every time I come to Pensacola. Great steaks , great sides , over the top service !

    Great location, great service but the steak was sub par. Its so sad!!! This place used to be on par with Ruth Chris and others. My steak (it was a 14oz ribeye special) was cooked to the proper temp but it was not seasoned well, DRY and tough. Tasted like an inexpensive steak from the grocery store cooked in a skillet. I came here a few years ago and ordered the Delmonico and it was not good either. I don't know if its low quality steak or poor preparation?? But when your steak taste like Applebee's or waffle house level, its time to make some changes. My wife ordered the halibut with a satsuma bur blanch and it was delicious!! Love the location and the history but really hope they can improve on the steaks.
